ADHD Big Brother - ADHD and Depression Solutions, Laughter, and Thoughts

149 - ADHD and Anxiety with Dr. Sandra Ostroff

Russ Jones Season 3 Episode 149

ADHD always comes with a side dish. Mine is depression. Dr. Sandra's is anxiety, and she and I had a wonderful conversation about anxiety, some strategies that can work for it, and we even got to learn about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Great conversation!

Dr. Sandra is a licensed psychologist, anxiety specialist, and mental health advocate. She is on a mission to make evidence-based anxiety support as accessible as possible through Embrace Now - her community membership platform. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from La Salle University and was trained extensively in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. She also has personal experience with both Generalized Anxiety Disorder and ADHD.

To learn more about her community, check out https://www.embrace-now.org. She is currently offering a FREE trial for the "founding" members of her community called "Early Embracers"
